Be Careful What You Wish For
Once upon a time there was a girl called Lapaka. She was a very ambitious young lady and had a plan set out for her life (DV). While she was still at school she had a vision for her career projection, everything was planned out to the last t. First on her list was to get a job at a consultancy and after that move on to work at a mine. The mine she envisioned was one that was just starting and she would be involved in developing and implementing the company’s EMS. The next career move was to go into banking.
I strongly believe in visualization and I can personally testify to its power. What your mind can conceive you can achieve – my personal mantra. The story above was my visualization journey 2013 – 2014. Here I am today, two career goals checked and I am now working at a mine and I got exactly what I wished for (told you visualization works).
Today I found myself complaining that the workload was too much. After my 10 minute pity party I dusted myself off and straightened my crooked crown. The one thing that came to mind was my wish to work for a new mine. I was reminded of the famous saying: BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR
